Ecommerce and Order Entry for Microsoft Dynamics Session at Convergence

After an action-packed event opening on Sunday, Monday was another action-packed day here in Houston, with so many educational sessions to attend and different people to meet. But one particularly exciting event was the eCommerce and Order Entry for Microsoft Dynamics Speaking Session hosted by Ignify.

This event really brought out a lot of Dynamics Users and Microsoft partners looking to better understand ecommerce for Microsoft Dynamics functionality, and to get introduced to the Order Entry for Dynamics solution. With both solutions offering full integration with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM systems, this session covered a lot of material that appealed to both the business-minded and the technologically-oriented in the crowd.

At this demo, the speakers focused on Ignify eCommerce features that increasing customer conversion rates, and functionality that enables quick and easy ordering processes. Ignify demonstrated quick Return on Investment on the ecommerce solution with customer examples and with functionality that helps increase revenues for merchants. Showing a variety of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) online store templates, as well as the rich product category displays and inventory management capabilities available within each store, the team facilitated a highly informative and engaging session.

Order Entry was also the big topic of the session, with the team demonstrated how the system is essential for companies looking to improve their customer service and make the lives of their customer service representatives easier. Using this system, customer service reps (CSRs) are able to get instant insight into customer, quickly enter orders, and to view and edit orders that have not been processed. CSRs can also create a new order, or edit existing orders including adding or removing items, changing ship method, or address, or discount amount on an order. Seeing how this Excel-like system allows easy keying in of orders and information, the audience was able to connect with the message of efficiency and resources saved.
